Inspiring children to believe in themselves

Watch Patrick Canagasingham, CCFC’s CEO, visit our program areas in Nicaragua

By Brianne Binelli, online content manager, Canada

Meet the children, families and communities benefiting from positive change in our programs.

Patrick Canagasingham, our CEO, recently visited Nicaragua and spent time with the children and youth benefiting from our work there.

He had a simple message for youth: “I want each of you to know that young people — you can make a difference.”

Watch the video below to see how supporters are bringing smiles and hope for a brighter future to vulnerable children in Nicaragua.

About Christian Children’s Fund of Canada:

Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC) is a child-centred international development organization and a member of ChildFund Alliance. For nearly 60 years, CCFC has worked with children, communities, donors and other partners — changing lives through improved health, education and clean water. CCFC works in 12 countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas, to support more than 700,000 children, youth and community members.

What We Do

We work to protect and improve the lives of children by helping them realize their basic human rights – nutritious food, clean water, health care and education. We empower children to grow up confident, know their rights, be active in the community, and take the lead in their own change.
